To ensure fairness in the poker league, points are calculated using a combination of the final tournament positions, the number of players involved in a tournament, the tournament buy-in, and whether the player is a celebpoker player.
Position Points X Participant Multiplier X Buy-in Multiplier X Celeb Player
Below is a full breakdown of these calculations.
First we start by allocating points depending on your position in the tournament
| Position | Punkte |
|---|---|
| 1st | 20 |
| 2nd | 15 |
| 3rd | 12 |
| 4th | 10 |
| 5th | 8 |
| 6th | 6 |
| 7th | 5 |
| 8th | 4 |
| 9th | 3 |
| 10th | 2 |
| 11-20 | 1 |
Then We Multiply By The Number Of Participants
NOTE : We Do Not Award Any Points In Games Which Have 30 Runners Or Less
Then We Multiply by the Buy-in Multiplier Value
And Finally We Multiply By 2 If You Are A Celebpoker Player
Example 1
You enter the 30 tournament at 20:00. If there are 316 runners and you come 2nd you would earn 360 points. Here's how:
You came 2nd. You earn 15 points.
There were 316 runners so we multiply by 4. 15 x 4 is 60
The buy in was 30 so we multiply by 3. 60 x 3 is 180.
If you are a celebpoker player we multiply by 2. 180 x 2 is 360.
Celebpoker player earns: 360.
Other room player earns: 180.
Example 2
You come 14th in the 5 game at 01:00. There were 78 runners. Here you would earn just 1 point:
You came 14th. You earn 1 point.
There were 78 runners so we multiply by 1. 1 x 1 is 1.
The buy in was 5 so we multiply by 1. 1 x 1 is 1.
If you are NOT a celebpoker player we multiply by 1. 1 x 1 is 1.
Celebpoker player earns: 2.
Other room player earns: 1.
Our points system is designed to ensure that we reward high achievers as well as big spenders.
